Process
Psychodynamic psychotherapy process consists of meeting with me on a regular basis, usually weekly, for sessions that last fifty minutes. We can determine together the frequency of sessions. This stable, confidential structure gives us the chance to connect with and understand what is happening at a deeper level. By being so generous with time, attention and thought, this therapy can bring about authentic and lasting change.
This approach recognises that issues in the present may have their origins in the past. Exploring this inner world takes time.
It is open-ended, long-term work, which means the client may decide when to end the therapy and we will work towards an ending together.
I work with young adults, adults and elderly people. Everyone is welcome.
I provide online individual therapy.
